If the items are detained by customs, who is responsible for the clearance of the items?

If the items are detained by Customs after the shipment has been left the supplier’s country, the buyer is responsible for clearance of the detained items.

What do I do if my parcel is seized by customs?

If your items can not be cleared at customs, you need to provide eBioChem with the letter authorized by customs stating why they have been seized.
 
This refers to the case that the package is held in detention at your customs. The dispatching party should be responsible for providing evidences to explain the detention.
Case 1: If the item is held in detention at the dispatching party’s customs, eBioChem should make a full refund to the buyer.
Case 2: If the customs proves that the detention happens because the item is prohibited or a replica subject to a fine, eBioChem should make a full refund to the buyer.
Case 3: If no written certification is provided by the customs about the detention, the goods are deemed to be en route and eBioChem should handle the case based on the specific situations when the shipping information is incomplete.

Whether to deliver by air or by sea?

When you order a large quantity of items, the transportation cost could be very expensive if you choose the conventional express. We suggest that you choose the delivery by sea method, which is relatively slower but could be much cheaper.

EBC can provide you either air shipping or ocean shipping service. The service is provided by third-party logistics company. As they may not deliver the items to the door, you might need pick up the items from the third-party logistics company.

What happens if the tracking number is invalid?

The tracking information normally appears 1-2 days after shippment. If you don't receive or see the tracking number for more than two weeks after payment, or the supplier never responded to your email, you can ask customer service to cancel the order for you without risk.

How can I tell if my items have been shipped or not?

When an order has been shipped, the order will be moved into folder “shipped” in your EBC account. You can click the order number to find the tracking information. Also, EBC will send you a notification email after the shipment. You can track the item status online with the tracking number provided by the supplier.

How do I change my shipping address?

Please be careful when choose the shipping address when you place the order. If the order have been generated. You can follow these steps to change the shipping address under the circumstance that the supplier hasn't sent out your order:

1) Sign in and go to MyEbiochem.

      2) Select the corresponding order that you wish to change the shipping address from either “Awaiting Payment” or “Shipped" depending on the order status.

      3) Click the Commuication tag to send message to the supplier.

      4) Please input the delivery address that you wish change to and click the “Send message to the supplier”

      Alternativelyyou can send information including your order number to support-team@ebiochem.com  directly, our stuff will help you to get in touch with the supplier for address change. 

How do I change the shipping method?

Once you have placed an order, normally, the shipping method cannot be changed. But you can always send us or the supplier a message to ask, we will do our best to work out the way you want.

What if my parcel is held by customs?

If your order has problem to be released from China Customs, you need provide us the authorized letter from the Customs stating why they hold it to apply for fully refund.

If a very large order is delivered from China to my country, will local Customs hold my order?

Well, it is possible. We strongly suggest that you ask the supplier in advance to split your order into several smaller packages, and send the shipment on different days to avoid possible holding.

If the items are detained by local Customs, the buyer is responsible for the clearance of the detained items.

If custom duties are incurred, who is responsible?

It is the buyer's responsibility for any Custom duty fees that may be charged upon delivery. How the import duty will be charged depends on each country’s trading policy.

Why is the shipping cost on some items so high?

The shipping cost depends on the shipping method and destination. For example, the shipping cost could be ten dollars difference between UPS ground and FedEx regular even to the same destination. We suggest you to choose one that best meets your demands on price and delivery time.

How do I calculate shipping cost?

On each main product page, you can click “Calculate shipping costs” , input the item’s quantity and the destination country to see the total shipping cost.

How do I combine shipping?

If you are interested in combining orders into one shipment and you have purchased all items from the same supplier, click “Ask Supplier Questions” to inquire about available shipping options.

Will you ship the item to my country?

Normally, most items on our website can be shipped to most countries in the world. However, different shipping methods may have limitations on the delivery destination. Here we suggest that you contact the supplier to make sure whether items can be shipped to your country via a specific shipping method.

Tracking Your Order

When seller ships the order, a tracking number will be provided. You can track your order on carrier's website.

Please keep in mind that it may take 48 to 72 hours for the tracking information to be updated by the Carrier. If you don't get the tracking information three days after your payment, please contact your seller for information.

When will I receive my items after I place an order?

There are two key factors that will affect the shipping time.

1) Shipping Method: Delivery time varies by shipping method. For example: DHL, UPS and FedEx takes 2-4 days while EMS takes 7-10 days.

2) Item Processing Time: Different items require different processing time . Average processing time is 3 to 15 working days; However, it varies depending on the item’s stock status.
