[Pharmacological Effects]

Astragaloside has significant role in reducing blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin and urinary protein,and it can reduce the AGEs in renal cortex and serum which showed it has antioxidation. Astragaloside also has effect on inhibition of aldose reductase and mesangial cell proliferation, reducing the role of kidney hypertrophy.
