As a collector, the selectivity of Sodium/potassium Ethyl Xanthate is the most strong in xanthate line.Sodium/potassium Ethyl Xanthate 

is widely used in the floatation of easily floatated sulfide ore and in the priority floatation of complicated sulfide ore.

Sodium/potassium Ethyl Xanthate is also used in the flotation of copper, lead oxide ores in conjunction with vulcanizing agents.
