DESCRIPTION
It is the white or pale yellow powder, well soluble in water.
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS
It is broad spectrum antibiotic belonging to third-generation cephalosporins which has great effect on Gram-negative bacterium. It has dramatic effect on perihepatitis, pericarditis, enteritis caused by Escherichia coli, salmonella.
The mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of cell wall and lead to the absence of cell wall. So the cell wall loss the protective action which can cause bacterial thallus dilatancy, at last dissolution, and death.
INDICATION
It is mainly used to prevent alimentary infection, respiratory infection, urogenital infection, severe diarrhea, diarrhea, necrotizing enterocolitis, etc. caused by Escherichia coli, Bacillus proteus, Salmonella, pneumobacillus, dysentery bacillus and staphylococcus.
It has great effect on enteritis, peritonitis, pericarditis, salpingitis, perihepatitis, head swollen, eyelid swollen, arthrocele, etc. caused by Escherichia coli. |
